Who it’s for

When familiar connections need a little help.

Built with families navigating memory changes in mind, Alongside is also useful when illness, recovery, a move, or another change interrupts familiar routines and support.

A new home. Familiar people alongside.

Moving closer to family doesn’t mean leaving your people behind. Keep friends and familiar faces part of everyday life.

Sample situations. Alongside is a private space for staying connected. It isn’t an assisted living provider, a monitoring service or medical care, and it doesn’t guarantee anyone’s safety. A diagnosis never hands someone’s choices to relatives: the person at the center decides who sees what, or chooses someone they trust to help. A circle can support someone through a difficult season or stay useful over time, with no diagnosis, reason or end date to give.

Everyone takes part

Share the load, not just the news

The person at the center invites, plans and shares too. Family, friends and neighbors offer to help, and it’s their choice whether to accept.

Living on your terms

Stay connected. Keep your choices. Get a little help when you need it.

  • The person at the center can share photos, plan a lunch, invite people and ask for help themselves, as much or as little as they like.
  • It’s still useful if they rarely log in. The circle creates the value together, and they don’t have to manage anything for it to work.
  • Their choices and privacy come first. They decide who belongs and what each person sees, or choose someone they trust to help. Age, a diagnosis, not logging in or paying for a membership never hands that decision to someone else.
  • Anyone who prefers a calmer screen can use the optional My Day view: today’s plans, familiar labeled photos and an easy way to send a message.
  • Access is based on permissions, not payment. Paying for a membership doesn’t open private content or medical information.

Privacy and communication

Thoughtful communication, with choices that stay yours.

Alongside may suggest rewording a message before it’s sent. You can also choose who contacts you and block unwanted messages.

How your choices work

Useful nearby. Valuable across the miles.

Add help if you ever need it

Many circles only ever need the circle itself. Assist and Care are optional hourly services, not upgrades, for particular circumstances like being far away when something needs arranging.

“You’re out of town, and Mom needs help arranging transportation.”

Sam lives two hours away. He taps Request assistance and asks for a ride to garden club. Whit confirms the estimated time and cost, whoever manages the circle’s membership approves, and the plan appears for the people Mom chose. Assist coordinates. It doesn’t send a caregiver, and the ride itself is an outside charge, separate from Assist’s hourly rate.
